additional support

While you’re participating in the study, several support programs and resources will be available to help make living with Geographic Atrophy easier.

  • Visit the GA Research Study website, and enter the patient number you’ll receive when you start the study. This will let you access a series of “What to Expect” guides tailored to each of your in-clinic visits.

  • Ask your retina specialist to help you find a support group near you. It’s helpful to share stories and insights with others who have GA.

The following patient groups call be accessed online or via phone to learn about GA, get updates on research, and explore vision aides and other tools.
